1. What methods does the AI bot support for building a knowledge base?

PinChat AI offers three methods for building a knowledge base, allowing you to choose the most suitable training approach for different scenarios:

• URL Crawling: Enter a website URL and the system will automatically extract the site content for training (up to 2,000 pages).
• File Upload: Supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and TXT formats, with a maximum file size of 10MB per file.
• Manual Q&A Creation: Directly create and optimize Q&A content for precise control over AI response quality.

If website content is updated, you will need to retrain the AI from the dashboard for the system to capture the latest information.

The system supports multilingual website content.

Direct integration with Notion or Google Docs is not yet supported.

2. What is the default AI model? Are there any limitations?

PinChat uses OpenAI models by default.

Each account is provided with a monthly AI message quota. Once the monthly usage limit is reached, the AI Bot will pause its auto-reply function until the next billing cycle.

If you prefer to control the model, costs, and usage yourself, you can enable BYOK (Bring Your Own Key).

BYOK supports:

• OpenAI
• Google Gemini
• Anthropic

Once enabled, the system will use your provided API key for processing, free from the platform's built-in quota restrictions.
