Where to set up this feature

Custom Domain

Step 1. Enter the domain name you want to use

Add the domain name you want to use in Link settings → Custom Domain. Make sure it is a valid domain name.

Step 2. Create DNS records

Next, add a CNAME record to your DNS.

The CNAME should point to landing.pinchat.me / landing.pinchat.me. (Depending on your DNS provider)

If you are not sure how to add this, click on “See instructions”.

Ask your DNS provider for help

This pop up window will show, and you can simply click on “Copy and close”, then send the content you just copied to your DNS provider, so they can help you add a CNAME record.

Set up DNS records by yourself

• Go to your domain’s DNS settings → create a record (set record type as CNAME), then fill in the corresponding info provided in the PinChat dashboard. Once saved, the DNS records should be successfully created

NOTE: For customers who use Cloudflare

Please set the proxy status as DNS only in order for the custom domain feature to work on PinChat.
